The Horse Industry In and Around Ocala.

The recent article in Ocala’s newspaper about the horse industry sheds light on our horse industry, locally, and I suspect nationally as well.

Carol Harris of Bo-Bett Farm in Reddick, pictured below, interviewed for the article, is a very well-respected and successful ‘Ocala’ horsewoman who I ‘knew’ way back when I was raising and showing Quarter horses. Her late Quarter horse stallion, Rugged Lark, shown and exhibited very memorably by Lynn Palm, was amazing.

Christmas Lights in Ocala Wednesday night.

Historic Downtown Ocala, Christmas 2010.
