Ocala’s horse farm country in late summer is lush, green, and thick with grass. Mares are becoming obviously heavier in foal.
Farmer’s markets all over Ocala and Marion County are gearing up for the fall crops; events such as the “Run for 911″ at Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club are common; and every now and then there is a hint of fall in the air.
And… you can mark your calendars for the Abbey Horse Festival at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion in Ocala, October 2 and 3!
